Well well...It's been awhile since I've done some scratches over here. Where to start? How about X interviewing me? Here are some excerpts taken from the interview.
[X] : So what's your current situation now in life?
[Bernard] : *coughs* Hmm....gonna get out of army soon with little more than a month left.
[X] : So what are you gonna do after that?
[Bernard] : Well, I'll go work for awhile and if possible take a part-time degree if I'm able to.
[X] : Why are you doing this when most people after completing their army liability go back to school?
[Bernard] : Haha! Mr. X, you're getting a bit nosy here eh? OK..plenty of reasons if you must know. Some of them personal and some financial. 'Nuff said. Next question please, X.
[X] : If you say so, bro. OK, next question then. How's life with your girlfriend? It's like ever since you and her were together, you've abandon us! Come'on now fill us in on this.
[Bernard] : Yeah yeah...I get what you're hinting. Haha! I'm sorry! I guess it's been awhile since I updated you guys. But hey, the truth is, she's my listening ear, my confidant now. All I want to say, I've told her. So I don't really see the point of update you guys anymore. What I feel and what I'd like to say, she knows. She's always there for me.
[X] : I'm getting goosebumps here... *sighs* So that means you aren't gonna visit us more often next time?
[Bernard] : Well....not really. Maybe just not as often as I used to.
[X] : Yes yes...We understand. Ok on to the next question 'cause we don't have much time left. Siamese Fighting Fishes. Ah...So how's your latest craze coming along? Heard that you've got quite number of them since your last visit here.
[Bernard] : Know you're gonna ask that...Yeah lots more than before and many different types too. Right now, I'm concentrating on the Halfmoon, Crowntail and the Wild species of it. Pretty cool animals I must say, especially the wild ones, they're a jumpy lot. My dad even got into the act too, he's keeping Plakats, the short tail species. It's much easier to maintain than the ones I've got. Yeah, and we're taking part in the coming Betta Kingdom Betta Competition this month at Sembawang Shopping Centre. Gonna send in 6 of our fishes to take part. In the previous competition, one of my dad's fishes got into the top 8.
[X] : Cool shit...OK our last question for the day...Guess what?
[Bernard] : What?
[X] : Tennis. How's things in that department?
[Bernard] : Well, right now I'm kinda like semi-retired. Don't play much nowadays and the saddest thing is I can only play doubles! I can't play singles for nuts now, my lines are gone and I'm not that physically fit now to run down all the shots. It's a blow to me, man. But my mixed doubles combination with my girlfriend is going pretty well. We're unbeaten since last year. Haha...mainly it's because she does all the running. I'd prefer to just volley. Yup 'nuff said. Are we going to end here, X? I need to rush off for my appointment.
